About Faerydale

 

My name is Robyn Scutt I am the owner of Faerydale. I started the shop in August of 2011, as a way to get back into the working world after having my children.  I am the proud mom of 2 young boys who I love so much. I wanted to have the best of both worlds and I got it! To open my shop I thought day and night for many months, planning and day dreaming ideas for the shop.  With my children by my side, I was able to work, decorate, greet customers and fill the shop within a couple months all while being able to spend quality time with my kids. After just a few months Faerydale was full of treasures and became a favorite stop to many locals and tourists. Even though my children are older now and are no longer in the shop with me every day, I treasure the time I was able to get with them!

 

When walking in to Faerydale you will notice it is not just a second hand shop, not just a consignment shop either. You will be greeted by friendly staff, loving friends and neighbors, a person to talk to, you will see beautifully arranged displays, whimsical lighting and romantic celtic music. The shop is a delight and a fun experience.

 

At Faerydale we feature new and pre- owned clothing for men, women, children and babies, Childrens toys, baby gear and supplies, Home decor, household items and kitchen supplies, Books, games, movies and electronics, craft supplies and more. We also have many beautiful antiques, furniture pieces and collectables, china, pottery and glassware. Faerydale has a large selection of country primitive and shabby chic deor and gift items. I am a fan of fairy and elf folk. We have a beautiful collection of fairy items for sale as well.

Faerydale takes much pride in our large selection of handmade goods from local crafters! We have handmade fairy gardens, jewerly, little girls tu-tus and hair clips, headbands, snack bags, handmade purses, grocery bags, handpainted furniture and glassware, candles, soaps, lotions, chapsticks, homemade jams and syrups and so much more! There are some very talented people in our little town!

You will find a great selection of pretty much everything! Preowned items are carefully checked for flaws, only the best items are here! We are always accepting new consignors and crafters for a wide variety of items in our always changing inventory!
